It has a 624MHz Marvell processor, 128MB of RAM and haptic feedback. Haptic feedback in a mobile phone is designed to make the feeling of pressing an onscreen virtual button more realistic, making it almost like typing on a real keypad. It also have an optical sensor for a directional pad. This can be used in two modes–as a regular four-way directional pad or as an onscreen mouse pointer.
An orientation sensor is built into the i900. When rotated, it does this fancy transition whereby the display shrinks and expands back to fill the screen in a different orientation, just like the iPod Touch.

Toshiba Sportio for exercise-mad crowd

The Toshiba Sportio cell phone targets the exercise-mad crowd in Japan, featuring a calorie counter, a distance-measuring application and integrated GPS. Thankfully audio and video playback have been included, making the trip to the gym or pounding the pavement with daily runs more enjoyable. Other features include :-

The Toshiba Sportio will be available later this month in five colors - white, black, green, orange and red. No idea on how much it will cost though, but KDDI did mention this will be a Japan-only handset.

JVC Victor Aleno XA-V Series

JVC Victor has a new range of Aleno players, this time featuring a trio of XA-V models comprising of the XA-V80, XA-V40, and XA-V20 that will boast 8GB, 4GB, and 2GB of storage space, respectively. All of them also share the same 2" display at 220 x 176 resolution, offering approximately 25 hours of battery life (reduced to half a dozen if video is played instead). Depending on the capacity, you will have to fork out between $180 and $250, with a choice of blue, black, white or red colors to confound you when they arrive early next month.

LG'sChocolate Decoy

LG has rolled out a trio of new handsets for the masses - the Dare, the Chocolate and the Decoy. The Dare will feature a touch screen display (which phone doesn't nowadays), 3G connectivity, V-Cast, VZ Navigator and a 3.2 megapixel camera. As for the Decoy, this will be the first cell phone in the world to feature an integrated Bluetooth headset inside, while the most recent Chocolate series phone is a slim flip style music handset that boasts 1GB of memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 2 megapixel camera, an integrated FM tuner, V-Cast Music library access, dual speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. Both the LG Dare and Decoy will be available this June 16th while the Chocolate is available at the beginning of next month onwards

DORO target older generation

Doro has a couple of new GSM cell phones that target the older generation - this time round both handsets will feature some updated specifications in order to keep up with the times. According to Doro, the HandleEasy 330gsm will feature large buttons and a high contrast color display, boasting SMS support, an integrated FM radio, a torch, a vibrating ringer and a speakerphone for hands-free communication. As for the Doro HandleEasy 326gsm, that model will feature a 100 name/number directory, a clear display and SMS support. The latter will cost £99.99 while the former is more expensive at £129.99.

Nokia's 1508 cell phone

Nokia's 1508 cell phone isn't anything fancy, as it is but a basic candy bar handset that will function over the CDMA network. You get the following :-

    * Easy key pad dialing
    * Integrated FM radio
    * Color LCD display

No idea on how much this will cost, but it will definitely be very popular in emerging countries where the basic pay isn't enough to purchase a high end gizmo, let alone a fancy cell phone. I trust this one will be able to take its fair share of knocks as well without any problems.

Gigabyte M528

Guess the Gigabyte M528 has finally been slapped with a price tag, retailing for approximately $750 in Taiwan when it is released there late this July. The features have not changed since it was unveiled at Computex 2008, so you can breathe easy knowing that the 800Mhz Silverthorne/Poulsbo (Menlow) processor, 800 × 480 resolution touch screen display, 3 megapixel auto-focus camera and 4GB SSD, GPS navigation, and 3G connectivity will be retained. Each purchase will also come with the full suite of applications including Firefox 3, Skype, Pidgin IM, and OpenOffice 2.4 among others. Nokia's 8800 Arte Pink will definitely cost you a handsome amount - approximately one week's wages for a top soccer player like David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo, retailing for €85,000. Who else but Peter Aloisson has the audicity to come up with such an extravagant design, boasting 680 white and pink glistening diamonds in addition to coating the entire handset in gold? Strange to see how lopsided the world has ended economically, with the rich being filthy rich while the middle class and poor suffer as they try to figure out how to get by the month without missing meals or skipping a mortgage payment. Underneath the diamond studded exterior lies standard Nokia 8800 specifications.

Over 10 million One Seg Phones Sold

Sharp has achieved phenomenal sales for the One-Seg cell phone - over 10 million of such handsets have already been shipped in Japan within a couple of years of its release. Bear in mind this number is just from Sharp alone - what about all the other One-Seg cell phone manufacturers in Japan? This means the whole nation there is nuts about getting their favorite TV shows on-the-go, but apparently Sharp has the upper hand when it comes to snagging the hearts (and wallets) of the people there. Motorola's RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition Phone

Motorola has announced the new RAZR2 Luxury Edition mobile phone in India. The latest slim-clamshell phone under the RAZR2 branding has been bathed in gold, clothed in snake-like skin and includes a suite of features and accessories for those who don’t mind the premium in price. An ultra-slim design at 12.05mm, it has pin stripes on the CLI lens, an engraved diamond-cut pattern on the sideband and a linear etching on the navigation wheel. It comes in 18/24K gold-plated accents and a soft-touch back, embossed with a sensual snake skin like texture.

Alongwith the great looks, the phone comes with 2 megapixel camera and 8x digital zoom, providing up to 2 hours of video capture and playback. Motorola Introduces Ferrari Edition RAZR2 V9 Mobile Handset

Motorola in collaboration with Italian sports car maker Ferrari has announced its new Motorola RAZR2 V9 phone. The phone combines the style and passion of Ferrari with the impeccable design of Motorola. The new V9 is similar to Motorola Z8 Ferrari version.

The RAZR2 V9 is fully loaded with Ferrari videos, wallpapers and ringtones. Additionally, it sports a 240x 320 QVGA 262K color display, internal antenna, Integrated 2 MP camera with 8x digital zoom, touch sensitive external music keys. It also comes with MotoSync in addition to normal MMS, email & SMS capabilities.

Connectivity features are aplenty like Micro USB, USB 2.0 full speed, USB mass storage, Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology with enhanced data rate, 3G HSDPA 3.6 Mbps wireless broadband and EDGE/GPRS.
